It really is amazing how much color you can find in a bland, freezing winter landscape. You just have to look beyond the cold clouds and winter white to see the true beauty that lies within. I find the sky is always a more vibrant blue when the sun shines and the glistening landscape exhales it's frosty chill, making a photographer's fingers appreciate the warmer times of year.

Yet, I find the winter blues and bright whites challenging and fun to shoot. Keeping my camera battery warm enough to last until the end...that's another story.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...but beautiful! Enjoy.
